The new campus consists of 2 buildings spanning 62,000 SF and include an academic building with an enhanced science lab. Gas fireplaces warm the student commons and provide a focal point for the library. Classrooms feature natural light from the huge windows facing the Eagle River. The arts and athletics building will have a 450-seat auditorium and indoor/outdoor stage. The gymnasium is complemented by weight and locker rooms as well as coaches' offices.

Lincoln Academy
Arvada, Colorado
Himmelman Construction was retained to work in conjunction with JeffCo Public School District and their architects to help design and construct a desperately needed classroom building for Lincoln Academy K-8. HCI was able to construct the project below the budget and on schedule. The savings realized during the pre-construction phase was enough to convert two of the classrooms to full science rooms.
This project was one of the very few that JeffCo Public Schools delivered via design/build.

Chaffey Community College Library
Rancho Cucamonga, CA
HCI was the second lowest bid for this project. Constructed of Tilt-Up concrete panels, the project was built on campus while school was in session. Special consideration goes into working in a sensitive school environment.

Eagles Nest Academy
Gilpin County, Colorado
The Eagle’s Nest Child Care Center is the culmination of a 10-year dream of the private, non-profit Gilpin Commission on Child Care and Recreation. As Gilpin County has grown, so has the need for quality childcare. This facility serves 60 children from infants through pre-school in a lodge-pole pine forest setting adjacent to the Gilpin School.

Foothills Elementary School
Lakewood, Colorado
Himmelman, Construction was contracted to provide new site services and interior remodel construction for this Jefferson County Elementary School. The project included all new fire alarm systems as well as ADA upgrades. The work was completed under budget and within the strict schedule.
