Mount Evans Hospice, serving the mountain communities of Evergreen, turned to Himmelman Construction shortly after purchasing an older building. HCI donated pre-construction services and their construction fee to remodel the entire building. A two-stop elevator addition was added on to the building, as well as exterior stucco.
Touted as one of the nicest commercial office buildings in the Evergreen mountain community, this 3-story, 40,000 SF building includes: state of the art mechanical systems, Class “A”’ interior finishes, spiral staircases with brass handrails, log balconies, handpicked, natural river rock skin, and natural stone floors.

Shortly after being awarded the Aurora facility, Newcomer Family Funeral Services awarded Himmelman Construction, Inc. this larger 11,000 SF facility in Lakewood.
Work included extensive site mitigation as well as off site improvements in City of Lakewood and C-DOT right of way. HCI and Newcomer Funeral Homes have plans to construct several more facilities in the metro area.
Performed as a tenant improvement, HCI constructed all of the interior finishes as well as coordinated the purchasing and installation of the MRI and Diagnostics Imaging equipment.
This multi-tenant, commercial office/warehouse project was extremely budget driven. By mixing simple materials with a unique shape to the structure, HCI delivered the project on time and under budget. HCI was subsequently retained to perform the tenant improvements.
