third-generation leader of
Himmelman Construction since
1993. He acts as principal on most
projects and leads the pre-construction
services department.
Himmelman has 24 years of combined
construction and construction
management experience. “I can still remember when we had
to estimate bids manually using an adding machine,”
Himmelman said. “Technologically speaking, things certainly
have changed for the better.”
Himmelman predicts steady yet manageable growth for the
company in the years ahead. “This company is going to be here
for my kids, and their kids to follow,” he said.

his life as a framer and business
owner. While working as a subcontractor
on a Himmelman
Construction project, an HCI superintendent
impressed with Ray's work quality & ethic, told Rauh to call HCI if
he ever wanted a change. “It was
time for me to switch gears in my
career, so I did,” Rauh said. “I’ve been glad from the get-go to
have been hired by HCI. It’s refreshing to be with people who
don’t bend the truth. They do what they say they’re going to do,
and it’s a great group of people to work with.” Rauh has been a Superintendent with the company for over
seven years.
