This new masonry and pre-engineered facility combines the administration and maintenance operations for the county and serve the South Park Trail District. Construction was completed in six months.
Himmelman Construction submitted the second lowest bid for the construction of this project. After careful analysis, the District accurately concluded that it would get more value by partnering with Himmelman over the low bidder. The project includes a 3-bay apparatus room, living quarters with shower facilities, day rooms, full kitchen and dining facility, and administrative offices.
This project was constructed during one of the worst winters on record for Summit County. Despite the snow level, constant high winds and sub-freezing temperatures, HCI kept the project going un-interrupted and delivered it within schedule. The project includes an 8-bay apparatus room, living quarters with shower facilities, day rooms, full Kitchen and dining facility, administrative offices, and training facility.
HCI delivered the second lowest bid for this Community Center yet, was selected based upon the firm’s reputation for completing projects on time. The wood framed structure includes a full senior center, banquet rooms, meeting rooms, and a full-service commercial kitchen.
