This 40,000 SF building started out $1,000,000 over budget. Himmelman Construction, Inc. offered various alternative solutions to meet the budget. In the end, the team settled on a pre-engineered solution. This mixed-use facility includes retail space on the first floor and living quarters on the upper level.
In an effort to expand retail operations, Mr. And Mrs. Collins hired HCI to design-build their new 11,000 SF facility. During the pre-construction planning, the HCI pre-construction team set a goal to plan the project so thoroughly that there would be no change orders. HCI successfully achieved its goal, and the new facility was constructed in 4-1/2 months.
Himmelman Construction won the bid to construct a new water park for The Town of Parker. Time was of the essence, as the park needed to be completed in time for the annual Town Festival in June of 2002. With a construction schedule of only 8 months, most being winter months, HCI set out to “fast track” the project, and was able to complete it ahead of schedule. The project included swimming & wading pools, baseball diamonds, interior and exterior shower and restroom facilities, locker rooms, concession stands, gazebo pavilions, playgrounds, and parking areas.
This rustic, log retail center was designed and constructed with the surrounding environment in mind. The core and shell serve as the home for restaurants and small retail stores. HCI was retained to perform the tenant improvements.
Creekside Cellars is a winery nestled up against the banks of Bear Creek in Evergreen, Colorado. Himmelman Construction remodeled the structure from a gas station into a new Winery and Italian Restaurant. The project included a complete soils remediation, as well as a new copper roof, cedar sided skin, and class “A” interior finishes.
The first phase of this project included the Design/Build Services to construct a convenience store and a First national Bank in Bennett, Colorado. The project was constructed with zero change orders. In addition, HCI was retained for phase 2 which includes a restaurant and hotel.
